Proficiency Testing
The WG Proficiency Testing organises proficiency tests for sensory panels in order to train the sensory skills of the tasters and to compare the performance between the panels. The focus is on discriminatory test methods, but it is also possible to integrate descriptive test methods.
The proficiency tests take place four times a year on dates chosen by the customer. They do not focus on a specific product groups. Different products are used in the tests and different sensory properties are analysed.
Are you responsible for a specialist sensory panel? Are you interested in exchanging and comparing the performance of your panel with other panels in Switzerland? As a member of IG Sensorik you will be able to join in, participate and benefit.
